Simultaneous execution of LQA in over 10 languages

For a popular game series by a major publisher, we conducted LQA in over 10 languages. We not only assigned native testers for languages with high translation frequency such as English, FIGS and Chinese but also for minor languages, thereby conducting QA to enhance translation quality.

Despite a short preparation and work period, we maximized internal resources and completed a large-volume translation of 600,000 Japanese characters within two months. Although the client had an urgent schedule, we were able to release with ample time.

Multilingual translation of text created with a complex variable design system

The Japanese original text used a style of writing character traits for nearly 100 characters using 'generic text + specific variables.' However, reproducing this style was challenging in other languages due to limited grammar rules and variations. Nevertheless, since the early stages of development, DICO's localization team of native speakers of various languages got involved and proposed an optimal sentence construction system.

Multilingual terminology organization and translation support for IP games

Although it is a historically significant IP, existing translations in other languages across various media (manga, anime, existing games) were not organized or standardized. DICO's language specialists took the lead in analyzing and optimizing the usage of terms for players and fans of the IP, leading to the organization of IP terminology.
